Slater Apps — Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Slater Apps. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Charisma, Mogger, and Reset (each, an "App," and collectively, the "Apps"), which are designed to help users build better habits, break compulsive patterns, and develop healthier lifestyles. By downloading or using any of the Apps, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using any of the Apps, you agree to these Terms and any additional terms applicable to specific features or services. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Apps immediately. These Terms apply equally to each App; using one App does not exempt you from these Terms when using another.

2. Eligibility You must be at least 9 years old to use any of the Apps. By using an App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for monitoring the use of the Apps by minors under their supervision.

3. Account Registration To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. A single account may provide access to one or more of the Apps. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

  • Keep your login credentials secure.

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Use of the Apps The Apps are designed to provide educational resources, tools, and community support to help users improve themselves. You agree to use the Apps responsibly and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Disrupt or interfere with any App's functionality.

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit any App's software.

Cancellation and Refunds: You can cancel your subscription at any time through the relevant App or your device's app store. Refunds are subject to our discretion and applicable app store policies.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties The Apps are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee that any App will be free of errors, interruptions, or security vulnerabilities. The Apps are intended for self-improvement and educational purposes and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. Results may vary for individual users.

8. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slater Apps and its creators are not liable for:

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use any of the Apps.

  • Loss of data, reputation, or profits arising from the use of any of the Apps.

9. Community Guidelines Our Apps may include forums, chats, or other community features to foster supportive environments for users pursuing personal growth. By participating, you agree to:

  • Respect other users' privacy and opinions.

  • Refrain from posting offensive, harmful, or illegal content.

Violation of these guidelines may result in suspension or termination of your account across any or all of the Apps.

10. Intellectual Property All content, trademarks, and materials provided through the Apps — including the names "Charisma," "Mogger," and "Reset" — are the property of Slater Apps or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify this content without prior permission.

11. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of any of the Apps after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We recommend reviewing this document regularly.

12. Termination We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to any or all of the Apps at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for violation of these Terms or any applicable laws.

13. Governing Law These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Country/Region], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

A few things worth flagging before you publish:

  • Age minimum of 9 is unusually low and could be a problem on the App Store and Play Store — both have stricter rules around apps targeted at or usable by children under 13 (COPPA in the US, similar rules elsewhere). Given Reset's subject matter especially, you probably want to reconsider whether 9 is really the intended floor. 13+ or 17+ is more typical for apps like these.

  • Governing Law placeholder still needs filling in — given you're Miami/Boca based and Quittr is an LLC, you'd typically put Florida here (or wherever Slater Apps is actually incorporated).

  • "Slater Apps" — if this isn't a registered entity, the creators/owners line in Section 8 and the IP line in Section 10 should reference whatever legal entity actually owns these apps (Quittr, LLC, or a separate entity).
